This is another hugely requested color combo, but you’ll never guess what I did???  I added GRAY!!!  I’m sure that doesn’t surprise you by now. 🙂  I’m calling this “Modern Apple,” mainly because I love a classic red apple theme, however, instead of your traditional red + green, I thought it would be absolutely stunning with black, white, and touches of gray!

Check out my apple…a GRAY leaf!  I love that it’s such a little unexpected touch…I bet you thought an apple couldn’t be chic… well, it IS now!  Again, I’ve included trendy patterns, including a whimsical polka dot (which happens to be my favorite)!  The patterns have a vintage look…you see that everywhere in the decorating world!

Behind the Scenes:  Do I appear to be calm, cool, and collected during this BIG reveal?  I really hope so, but do you want to know the truth?  We are working like crazy behind the scenes to make sure all of this runs smoothly.  Just envision Santa on Christmas Eve and all of his elves running around…that’s how I’m feeling right now!!! 🙂  We are literally running around transferring files, zipping them, editing them, preparing pictures, filling the shop, and I’m writing this post two hours before it’s scheduled to go LIVE!  It’s a CRAZY, but super exciting time here at Schoolgirl Style!  I HOPE you are enjoying this as much as I am!

This argyle pattern is so pretty!  I loved how this appears so cohesive by choosing the same pattern to wrap my aluminum cans.

I forgot to mention that I created this entire collection WITHOUT the apple, just in case you wanted a super sophisticated look!

 The poms are beautiful as an accent on your bulletin board.  I particularly love the black and white polka dot pom!

Red paired with black and white creates such a dramatic contrast!  I adore this modern take on a classic school theme.
