Southern Charm

I am a Southern girl at heart living in the Midwest.

I just LOVE everything about the South.

Don’t get me wrong, Michigan is beautiful too, but I’ve been dreaming about moving to the South for a very long time.  My entire family and my whole life is in Michigan and it would be very hard to leave, but a girl can still dream.

Maybe one day.

Southern Charm was created to celebrate everything I love about the South:  gingham, scallops, florals, being polite to others, minding your manners and creating an environment that encompasses hospitality.

There is so much sweetness in this one little collection and I think it’s absolutely STUNNING.

I hope you enjoy the details of this new decor line and find it as special as I do.

*This collection is DIGITAL only.  Borders shown can be purchased at your local teacher supply store or online at Carson-Dellosa.

I styled this collection two ways:  Using just the light blue and navy blue decor for a calming, neutral enviornment OR you can add POPS of red to give this collection more contrast.

You can check out the two different ways I put the collection together and decide for yourself which design appeals to you.

I used my Schoolgirl Style borders to coordinate with this collection.  I used my favorite painted dot border, the pretty NEW white and black scallop and my white with large black polka dots.  The borders can be purchased at your local teacher supply store or online at Carson-Dellosa.

The large tassels actually come with my new Script Word bulletin board set.  You can also get the printable tassels in the digital collection as well.

I’ve included all of the letters in the alphabet to create your own personalized classroom banner.

The magnolias are just simply beautiful.  I hot glued them onto a large white paper daisy and used them as accents on my bulletin board.  Carson-Dellosa also carries black and white daisies, along with black and white poms – all would coordinate perfectly!

There is no denying, this calendar set is gorgeous.  The whole combination is very soft and soothing.   This will be absolutely beautiful in any classroom environment.

Next up…I styled the collection adding red to the design.  This is STUNNING too!  How are you ever going to decide?!?

I used poppies as an accent on this board, but there is no reason why you couldn’t use all of the florals together.

The apple accents are a cute addition to the collection.  It is especially striking with the black and white borders!

Of course, the poppies are GORGEOUS too with the black and white!

Here are a few close-ups of my Script Words bulletin board set.  I created this in a large set and a mini bulletin board set.  I love the idea of adding inspirational words throughout your space.  You can purchase these at your local teacher supply store or online at Carson-Dellosa.

I love the new Southern Charm!! I really want to buy the southern charm items, but Carson Dellosa doesn’t have it on their site. Most teachers have limited amounts of printing and paper that we are allowed to use. I would never be allowed to print these items. Where can I buy these item already prepared?
