Good morning! Just popping into this little corner of the web for a moment… for a sit-and-sip-your-coffee-with-me kinda moment… while I simultaneously yell from the mountaintops “CLASSROOM RUGS ARE NOW BEING SOLD ON THE SCHOOLGIRL SHOP!

 I have wanted this for my SGS teacher friends for SO LONG! I know how hard it is to find a rug that is all-the-things you want for your classroom. Cue the happy dance because I found an INCREDIBLE rug company to partner with, that makes HIGH QUALITY, GORGEOUS rugs. Literally, it’s a  DREAM to get to offer these darlings to you! 

I’m not gonna lie… these rugs are the crowning jewel in classroom decor, and THE perfect finishing touch. The colors coordinate beautifully with many of the our collections, and the texture is oh-so-soft and comforting for all those sweet moments shared on the classroom rug.

Truly, some of the most treasured moments during my teaching, happened when gathering together on the classroom rug. I remember the pure JOY I would feel and the “this is exactly where I am supposed to be” feeling I would get, when I would gather my little ones onto the carpet and look out into their sweet, little faces, eager to start the day together. WHEW, still pulls at my heartstrings. 

Rugs are a gathering place within classrooms — a place to learn, ask questions and connect. They are central to building community within classroom environments, and provide such a warm welcome for all who enter your room! As our teacher hearts long to be with our students, to gather with them again, these classroom rugs are a perfect avenue to usher friendship and togetherness.
