I’ve had a ton of requests for a hot pink and black color combo, however, I wanted to give it a modern look by adding a soothing gray to the collection.
Can you tell that I’m LOVING gray this season?
I’ve combined black and white polka dots (don’t forget the black/white polka dot poms), and several other beautiful patterns to create a collection that is sure to be a show stopper! This collection also has a slight vintage/antiqued look that continues to be SO popular in the decor world!
I would suggest using black, white, and gray as your backdrop with hot pink as an accent color. Keeping boards black or gray will give you that classic look, while adding touches of hot pink here and there will give it that fun POP of color!
GRAY is HOT HOT HOT! Stop by the Schoolgirl Style Shop to see all of the NEW gray products!
I created this collection with a light dove gray as the background color in several of my decor pieces.
I’m so excited to now offer gray lanterns, daisies, poms, and bulletin board paper!
I pulled more gray into my room by using gray ribbon throughout.
The patterns in this collection are gorgeous! I still love polka dots, but I’m also loving the black and white bloom pattern!
Most of the items in this collection are editable! Just type in the highlighted field and print. Perfect handwriting every time!
If you can’t hang from your ceiling, what about adding poms to your bulletin boards?
I adore the silver buckets with the chalkboard label. A perfect match for this collection!
Papers to wrap aluminum cans are included. Add a pretty monogram to customize your work area in your classroom!
Each collection has a stationary set included!
Stationary sets include thank you cards, monogram prints for your desk, Avery label templates, note cards, and personalized stationary.

Are you following Erica yet?
Erica was the very FIRST blogger that I met when I started Schoolgirl Style. When I say “met,” we’ve never actually met face to face, but we’ve talked through email many times. Erica has always been so incredibly sweet and has welcomed me with open arms into the blogging world!
In addition to being one of the nicest people I know, Erica is truly one of the hardest working bloggers out there! She is so dedicated to her fans and will do everything she can to help make your life as a teacher easier. If you reach out to her, she will help you with ANYTHING! Erica truly has a heart of gold!
I chose this collection for Erica to give away because she LOVES fashion and all things pretty. I thought this collection was just so fitting for Erica’s personality!

This one tops the cake! It is beautiful. I absolutely love the pop of hot pink. You amaze me every day!
Thank you so much, Wendi!!!
Awe, thanks for the kind words Melanie! <3!! I do love this set, did you know pink is my favorite color?
This IS gorgeous! I think it would be great for middle school– the girls would love it, of course, and it can definitely have a boy vibe. Plus, I see more and more boys liking this hot pink as they see professional athletes wearing it (shoes, socks, gloves) for breast cancer support– a lot of my son’s friends wear black socks with pink accents. The patterns are great. Love the argyle!
Diana, you are SO right! Pink is not for girls anymore! Thank you for bringing this up. 🙂
Where did you get that wonderful chevron bulletin board? I want it!
I’m getting chevron border in the shop, so hang tight! 🙂
I love this too! It’s classy and cute. Choices! Choices!
This is just beautiful! Would it be wrong to put this in my bedroom? 🙂
Hahahaha! NOOOOOO!!!!! 🙂
Wow, talk about pretty in pink! If I was a pink girl I would be ALL over this. As always super cute.

I know…thank you!!!
Awesome!!! I wish I was so much more creative like this…you are fabulous.
Hi! I love love love this pattern!! I just purchased it and it looks fabulous in my classroom!!! I wish there was a way to share photos because it turned out great! I teach middle school and I am happy to say that the hot pink does not bother the guys since its mixed with the black, gray, and white. What is the font you used for the stationary set?? I am trying to print it out now and I am having a hard time finding it on dafont.com. Thank you for creating the best classroom sets! It has truly inspired me to make my classroom fun for the kids to walk into, and a place they are happy to learn in.
