There were several people that emailed me afterwards and explained that they adored this collection, however, their existing primary colored furniture/rugs would clash with her pretty colors. Requests poured in for a new Rainbow Chalkboard collection….chalkboard and primary colors. So, off to work we went creating a beautiful striped design. This was actually a tough job…nothing felt right. My graphic designer and I continued to tweak the colors until we found the perfect color combination! The end result was SOOOO pretty!
I actually have this collection in my SECOND classroom. That’s right…I have two rooms. You’ve seen my first room on my blog…that’s where I do all of my lessons. My second room is connected by a door…this is where I have the children’s centers. It looked pretty bad in the beginning. In hindsight, I probably should have taken a picture, but I was too overwhelmed. With only two days to get ready, I knew I couldn’t work on that room. Well, one Friday, my mom showed up to school with this entire collection in hand. She knew I was tired and I didn’t have time to work on it. She spent about 8 hours decorating the classroom for me. She transformed a sad, boring space into a fun and and playful learning environment for my kiddos…. in just a matter of hours! It’s certainly not perfect, but it looks a thousand times better! Thank you, mom!!!
How gorgeous is this tassel garland?!?! I adore all of these vibrant colors combined together! Stop by the Schoolgirl Style Shop to see this pretty, new product!
Lanterns, lanterns, lanterns…
Super easy way to add color to any space!
This is the first time I created my own border! I have a striped rainbow design and a large polka dot and chalkboard design. SO CUTE!
*Both designs are included in the collection.
This collection will certainly make you HAPPY!!!
The nameplates in the upper left hand corner and so so cute…one of my favorite products in this collection! Here is one of my new posters…BEE YOURSELF! You can enlarge this as much as you would like. Save this file to your thumb drive, take it to a print center…you choose the size! This option is very inexpensive…it only cost me a few dollars.
Did I mention that I love our new Wavy Totes…and our new fancy labels!
How cute is this alphabet line?!? I wish I had enough space to show you the entire alphabet. It’s simple, but it pulls your theme together nicely.
Here’s the double daisy AGAIN! This is a great way to bring color into your classroom! Can’t hang anything from your ceiling? This is the solution! You can still have cute room…just add them to your bulletin boards as a pretty accent!
Our Jelly Totes look amazing with this collection! They are so vibrant and add another pop of color into your classroom!
Check out this chalkboard scribble border! Isn’t it cute?!? I love how it brings a touch of whimsy to the design. You can purchase this in the SGS Shop.
Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud…love it! Again, you can enlarge this if you would like!
Our new 2015 collections all come with calendar sets! Each set has a calendar grid, calendar numbers and special occasion pieces, bulletin board accents, Days of the Week poster, and 12 month headers. I saved the calendar file to a thumb drive, took it to Staples and had them print each piece out on an 18 x24 sheet of paper. Laminate for durability, then use Velcro to attach each piece to your calendar.
I’m double daisy CRAZY!!! Add these to your dead space in your room for a punch of color!
We added colorful polka dots all over the room for an added touch of FUN! I had it photographed two ways…with and without the dots. You can decide which way like it better.
I’m a little partial to this border combination. I LOVE it! I used a plain red scallop border, a chalkboard polka dot, and my own rainbow stripe that’s included in the collection.
Can’t find a theme to match your crazy room? I know that some of you get stuck with colors you don’t like when you inherit a classroom…this collection is your answer! This theme will go with almost any existing color that you might have!
Caddies in several different colors are available in the SGS Shop! Stay tuned…black will be listed soon!
Maria and I used the pennants to dress up her long stretch of windows in her classroom! This was the one application that transformed her space. I love how the different shades of the primary colors fade into each color. When you have the entire banner hung, it is truly stunning!
